Established in 1988, Mentari designs and manufactures wooden toys in a family run factory using reclaimed rubber wood, a by-product of the latex industry from plantations in Indonesia. They replant every tree used, hand paint the toys, and use recycled cardboard for packaging. They have been awarded the ICTI Ethical Toy Program seal of approval, and all the toys meet the European, American, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand standard safety of toys according to EN71, ASTM, SOR and AS/NZS ISO.
