What is lab-grown?
Lab Sapphires, Emeralds, and Diamonds
Physically and chemically identical to mined, lab-grown sapphires, emeralds, and diamonds are created in a controlled lab environment, addressing the environmental and labor impact of traditional forms of mining. The process makes it possible to fairly price the stones according to demand instead of supply.
Nano Gemstones
Nano crystal gemstones are similar in appearance to natural crystals, but are created in a laboratory from oxides and silicates grown in a glass matrix. Nano gemstones are uniform in color, ensuring that each stone appears identical. They can be produced in a wide range of colors, allowing for greater design innovation and creativity.
Care
All Dorsey pieces can be cleaned using warm water and dish soap. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to gently scrub.
Lab diamond and sapphire pieces set in 14K gold can be cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner.
