THE STORY BEHIND THE TEA:
We celebrate Dessert Tea Month each year and it’s one of our most beloved celebrations. And of course we love to feature a dessert-y flavor in our tea club during the month as well.
This year was a collaborative blend between Andy and our tea makers. The name is suggestive of a candy bar, but you won’t find anything crunchy in this blend.
The magic of this blend is that we feature three very different sweet notes. The sweetness of the almond has almost a wintergreen note, the butterscotch has a caramelized sugar note, and then the chocolate is more of a bitter cacao type of sweet.
That said, this blend is not pre-sweetened, so it isn’t overtly sweet; feel free to sweeten to taste.
