Waterfall Necklace · Dumortierite 

I can't help but think of a waterfall when I see this necklace, the way that the crystals cascade down in tiers and with the aquatic colors- with the icy clear quartz and blue Dumortierite inclusions. Dumortierite is the stone that represents patience, taking control over your own life and bringing order to the chaos. These crystallized inclusions are so neat; you are going to love the shapes that you see in there when you look closely.

The necklace is 16 inches of solid sterling silver chain with a 1.5 inch extender on the end. This gorgeous chain is very high quality, comfortable to wear, and made with soldered links to prevent breaking. The high quality chain can be worn daily and while showering. Everything is lead & nickel free.

The process: With three crystals on these, that's three times the amount of work as a normal piece! Many crystals are sorted through to find the prettiest ones. These crystals are then carefully positioned with the prettiest angle facing forward, then a little loop is connected the stone and the connection is shaped with epoxy to smooth everything out. The necklace then goes through a really neat process where pure copper deposits onto the crystals for 12+ hours, with me taking the pieces out to make adjustments every few hours. After tumbling, hand polishing, and plating in the thickest possible layer of sterling silver, the pendants are finally complete! The pendants are then attached to the prettiest, softest, highest quality chain I have found. Long story short... a whole lot of time and love is put into this little beauty!
