    Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies with am. NICCOLI Vanilla Bean Baking SALT


    Ingredients:

    • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon am. NICCOLI Vanilla Bean Baking SALT
    • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
    • 2 large eggs
    • 2 cups semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips


    Instructions:

    1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
    2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
    3. Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. This should take about 3-4 minutes.
    4. Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla extract.
    5. Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients: Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
    6. Add Chocolate Chips: Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a spatula.
    7. Scoop Dough: Drop heaping tablespoon-sized balls of dough about 2 inches apart onto the prepared baking sheets.
    8. Bake: Bake until the cookies are golden around the edges but still soft in the center, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, and let cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
    9. Finish with am. NICCOLI Vanilla Bean Baking SALT: While the cookies are still warm, sprinkle a pinch of am. NICCOLI Vanilla Bean Baking SALT on top for that perfect sweet and salty finish.
